I am now officially the proud owner of a 2005 Volvo S80.
Well, I was as of around 11 am this morning, but I’m just getting around to posting now.
It’s the 2.5T turbocharged five cylinder model with just 64k miles, beige leather, sunroof, FWD. I love it.

Good stuff man, enjoy. Just remember there was a V8 version as well, it hides under the V8.

Congrats! As a regretfully former Volvo owner, welcome to the family.
Turbobricks, swedespeed, beickboard, vcoa, and ipdusa will be invaluable resources. Probably some others I can't think of at almost 1AM.

Step one: Remove that front plate!
Step two: enjoy how you car looks without it.
Congrats, it looks really clean.

Nice! How’s the transmission?

It seems to be behaving well. I know automatic transmissions can be a weak point on these cars but according to my search a significant portion of that is the GM 4T65E that was used on the 2.9T cars. I didn’t see much on the 5speed auto this car has. Definitely going to keep an eye on it to try and catch any problems in the bud

Beautiful! I was looking at these when I bought my Saab. I still wish I gave the Volvo a chance. Absolutely love these cars! You’ll love it I bet! :D
